Linus BBQ, Itaewon

Finally, a food/restaurant review in Seoul!

Linus BBQ!

It was AMAZING. Finding Real BBQ in Korea is...wow~
I went with a date >//< and he's been to/lived in Texas for a while and is really proud of his BBQ tasting skills haha. Sooo~~ Here you go:

    • Their menus were really interesting! Two wood pieces put together and their options carved into the wood itself!
    • They had two different types of sauces. One for pork, the other for their brisket. The one for brisket was spicer and the one for pork is sweeter. I prefered the brisket sauce. Yumyum, it was a good kick. Not too spicy but definitely brought some heat.
    • We got the food for two, which came with pulled pork and brisket, hawaiian bread (which had a special sauce on the inside...kinda like a light chives garlic butter...i dunno but it was fantastic). We also got 3 sides: coleslaw, bacon and baked beans and potato salad.
      • Bacon and baked beans were pretty good. Which is saying a lot since I'm not a big fan.
      • The coleslaw was a good vegetable option (for those that need more than just meat)
      • The potato salad... Wow! I usually don't like potato salad in Korea. It's too sweet, they throw weird stuff into it...it's not for me. But this, my oh my. It was fantastic. I couldn't stop eating it. It's just good... I dont know how to explain it. My partner said it was too salty...which after eating it for a bit, I could see what he meant, but it was really good. Did I mention it was really good?
    • It came with Jalapenos and thinly sliced pickles on the side.
    • My partner got the Lynchburg Lemonade
      • Jack Daniels, triple sec, sour mix and sprite
      • He said it was awesome. Solid 9/10
    • Ok so on to the meat!
      • Brisket: Was my favorite. I really enjoyed it. It still had some fat on it but it was tender and juicy. It wasnt dry, even though I had a thick slice on my bun, it was so good and had a light smokey taste.
      • Pulled pork: Was so good as well. Most of the pull porked I've tried has been dry but THIS was not the case. It was wonderfully cooked and was also moist. Partner mentioned that the pork was a little cold and could have been warmer...but that he wasnt complaining. That the food was still good and it was worth every penny. I thought it was okay, I didn't have as much as he did so I guess I'm a bit biased towards the brisket anyways.

Definitely give this place a 10/10 in my book.
Sorry about the lack of photos. I forgot my camera and we were anxious to eat lol.
